How does it work?
Wintergreen oil is distilled from the leaves of a little flowering plant. It is a powerful oil that needs to be used with care. It contains 98% methyl salicylate, a substance closely related to aspirin with similar analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Methyl salicylate also gives the plant its minty scent (and taste) that pairs well with mint oils or menthol crystals.
