Not only do blackberries add a fruity fragrance to products, but they are also astringent and toning, keeping the skin firm and bright. Malic acid, naturally occurring in the berries, also supports the `skin's vitality and elasticity.

What are the benefits of a freeze-dried ingredient?

'Freeze-dried' means that instead of dehydrating blackberries by evaporating their water content with heat, they are dried by using low pressure and a freezing temperature. It may seem like an unnecessary fuss, but this method actually retains lots of nutrients, as well as the shape and colour of the original ingredient. This means we can add the benefits of blackberries, which would otherwise be too juicy, to our solid naked products. So when we say we put the whole fruit in, we find ways to mean it across all our products - even the ones without packaging.
